P E R S O N A L I T Y
Eliza is a timid girl who can be easily upset or frightened in situations which others wouldnt. She prefers to be alone with Valerie but after years of being alone with no comfort, she craves company but due to her timidness she finds it hard to approach people she doesnt know but she tends to get along with people she likes or knows. She doesnt recover from trauma easily and bad experiences can linger for a long time and she doesnt easily forget any negative experiences. Emotionally insecure, she prefers to have her face hidden by her hood and if not her hood, then her fringe.
Despite all of her problems, Eliza is a very sweet, gentle and loving girl who is often very loyal to people she knows and her friends. She can also be considered a cuddle-bug since she loves nothing more than a hug. She tends to become emotionally dependent on them, up to the point when she could be considered a little bit 'clingy' but after everything she had gone through, it's probably expected. Eliza becomes lonely very easily and can become a nervous wreck if left alone for too long. She can also be described as lovesick since she pines for Valerie and wants to find someone who can give her the same kind of happiness that she did but her shy and timid nature can make that difficult. She is nervous of strangers, especially men.

P E T S
Pierre is about 5 months old. He is a playful and friendly little rodent who loves making friends with others, human or animal. He is also Eliza's comfort object who she hugs or clings to when frightened or stressed. Eliza found him in a box prior to finding the 'Combs. She is very attached to him as he provided her some comfort through her loneliness and becomes upset if he is hurt or if she cant find him.

H I S T O R Y
Eliza was born in Scotland in 1998 and things were rather normal for the most part. Much like now, when she was small, she'd be nervous of new people or situations and most of her toddler years were spent clinging to her mum's leg while Phil, her older brother would be a typical boy and be much more open. It wasn't until Eliza was eight that things started to go wrong.
When she was eight, the family moved to the USA. Nine months after, her father was killed in an accident involving a drunk lorry driver while taking her to a school play. Phil blamed her for his death and hung himself after his funeral.
Eliza’s mother started drinking heavily and was fired from her job. By the time she was eleven, the money had run out and the had to sell their house and move into a flat which had no wallpaper, carpets, hot water or even proper furniture.
Shortly after, her mother got a new boyfriend named Richard, but Eliza called him ‘Dick’ because that was what he was. He didn’t work either and spent the little money they had on alcohol. He hated Eliza and seemed to take joy in abusing her and her mum was very little help. His hatred stems from when he found her and a female friend making out. Being a raging homophobic; he disagreed with her and tried to force his opinion upon her mainly by beating her which caused Eliza to become wary of men.
Eliza did find some happiness in the shit fest which was her life when she met Valerie, a wonderful young person who became very close to her. But history had to repeat itself and Valerie was taken away from Eliza after a car crash when taking her to the hospital after a heroin overdose.
Eliza blames herself entirely for that and everyone seemed to think the same thing but things hit rock bottom when her mum and Dick suddenly moved to Mexico, leaving her alone in the flat.
Eliza lived alone for about two years without seeing another person, resulting in long-lasting depression and her crack and weed addiction wasn’t helping her medical or mental state. It wasnt long before she was driven to near insanity with loneliness.

She would leave except for the fact that she doesn’t have anything to go back to so the catacombs seems to be the best place for her. She has made a few friends and has Pierre but she is still uncomfortable there and still hasn't been able to settle in. Eliza is only close with a small clutter of people in the 'Combs but is still unhappy there, although having those people does help.
Things have improved for Eli over the last few months. She is still nervous and still finds life in the Combs fairly stressful but appears to have been adopted by a few of them who see her as a younger sister. Despite being wary of a lot of people, and still relying on the people she does know for comfort and support, she is a lot happier than she was to start with. Eliza now seems to have a permanent home in the Catacombs since she most likely wouldn't be happy in the big wide world.

Two years of isolation prior to finding her way into the 'Combs have taken its toll on the girl as she regularly hullucanates that Valerie is still alive and with her. It upsets her if people either make fun of her for it or try to convince her otherwise. She prefers to be left alone,with Valerie at times and the desperation to still have her with her seems to fuel Eliza's heroin addiction as it makes her clearer and easier for Eliza to cope. (Again, this is downplayed but occasionally comes up)
She has a teddy bear that was given to her by Buttons after she was frightened from playing Five Nights at Freddy's and the teddy is ironically called Freddy. Pierre sometimes becomes jealous of the teddy and tries to take it from Eliza.

In terms of addictions, Eliza used to be a very heavy drug user and used to only seem to be in a catatonic or stressed state. They were mainly used by her as comfort because of years of emotional trauma and isolation. But after finding her way into the Combs, there is no real need for them anymore thanks to Annie and Marcus' care and the people she had made friends with. She still occasionally uses weed and heroin (old habits die hard) but not very often or to a severe degree.
Eliza has a tattoo on her arm of a tear shaped ghost with a bow and arrow and long red hair (meant to represent Valerie)
